I bought a used copy of volume 1, haven't got around to reading it yet. Very busy snorting bath salts and beating off to 90s trans porn.

I read the first volume because Peterson (pbuh) recommended it. It didn't tell me anything I didn't already know about the Soviets but it's a good read, very involving and even funny sometimes.
