Have you read it?
Not yet.
You haven't? Then don't EVER TALK ABOUT AGAIN ABOUT ANYTHING REMOTELY LEFTIST YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT OH MY GOD (truth) READ THE GULAG ARCHIPELAGO

Twice, its a good vacation book.

Unironically: no leftist position is tolerable or respectable cause of The Gulag Archipelago.
He is THAT dismissive of literally any kind of leftist leaning, and he bases most of his critique on that book (well, probably there are others, but TGA is the one that he cites the most, wich is reasonable considering how massively influential was that book in the '70s).

>Unironically: no leftist position is tolerable or respectable cause of The Gulag Archipelago.
Wrong. He's never said any such thing.
>>9039747
>show any kind of left leaning
>he immediatly starts calling out all the stalinism's faults using books such as TGA
He literally always do that, he does it so often that the fact that it's not a meme yet kinda suprises me.

In an interview with Steven Crowder, Peterson says that both conservatives and liberals are necessary forces in a free society, because the conservatives keep stability but liberals update the structure.
But both sides can become tyrannical if they become too ideological, e.g Nazism vs. Stalinism.
>>9039740
>no nazi position is tolerable or respectable cause of Holocaust
see?
>>9039763
this, also if the citizens in their respective party lie to themselves in order to support that party
>>9039763
>both sides
>Liberals and conservatives
See? He can't envision a world with actual leftist movements. The democrats are as far left as he's willing to go.
>>9039918
>actual leftist movements
What are "actual leftist movements" though?
You can't blame someone for analogizing Marxist-Leninist Communists with Nazis, because both of them want to destroy what already exists.

Yes. He is just a shill for the status quo (capitalism).
I bought a used copy of volume 1, haven't got around to reading it yet. Very busy snorting bath salts and beating off to 90s trans porn.
I read the first volume because Peterson (pbuh) recommended it. It didn't tell me anything I didn't already know about the Soviets but it's a good read, very involving and even funny sometimes.
>>9039740

Sure there is. That's just the cheapest way until 5 years from now when automation will fuck China beyond the point of even hoping to rebound.
>>9039571

>>9039571
Peterson talks about the Gulag Archipelago endlessly, but I have never heard him mention Two Hundred Years Together
>>9042335
I think he did in his Joe Rogan interview
