I remember when I was a little boy my mom used to read "The Chronicles of Narnia" books to me, and there is a part in one of the books that talks about the end of the world. Something about everything going black and giant godlike creatures going to sleep forever or some shit like that. The way it was described was incredibly comfy, like the end of the world is a natural thing that will bring about peace and comfort and unite all things through a collective end.

I wish I knew which specific book it was, but it was one of the Narnia books.
