Are LCD monitors any good or should I get a tablet and which one should I get?

a ereader is probably the best. you can store entire libraries on it, long battery life and you're not staring at a screen, its e ink

Read a book or from an ereader. Lcd screens (amoled, whatever--anything backlit) are not good for you. I know because I've already fucked up my eyes.
E-readers are a scam, tablet is just fine
I voted 'Physical paper book'. I enjoy reading paper books and, having used an e-reader previously, it just didn't feel the same. That being said, the e-reader is more practical in terms of storage and transportation, and I haven't seen any research regarding negative side effects. I'd choose one of these two options.

so you say I should invest in an ereader rather then reading from my smartphone screen?
