Not my favorite Gaiman (who I think this board generally dislikes) but it's pretty good.

It's good. Don't listen to these fucking toffs.

Gaiman's best in my opinion, that being said it was my first read of his and I might be slightly biased, but the things I learned about obscure religion and mythology (especially norse mythology, not to call norse mythology obscure that is) made it an amazing experience for me. So if you're into that kind of thing then don't drop it. I mean its not as pretentious as Nietzsche but its a very nice read.

It is terrible. I had to read it a few years ago for a bookclub I (foolishly) joined with some friends. They have poor tastes and uniformly hated it. It may be the worst of the ~300ish books I've read since that time. It is one of three in my adult life that have made me genuinely angry, enough that I will bother to type this out.

what are the other 2
>>Neverwhere > American Gods

Neverwhere just felt by-the-numbers to me. It was an enjoyable enough read, but nothing really stood out about it besides the two villains.

I liked reading it. Also the ending had me quite entertained.
