Hi, what are some good books about dealing with grief, especially the death of a pet?
This is Snowball, she was 18 years old and suddenly and unexpectedly passed away early Sunday morning. Coincidentally, I posted about "patrician pets" only a few days before she passed, and I used pic related, which happens to be the last photo she posed for.
I really miss her and want something to read that would help me understand her death. I'm a Christian and am not sure whether I will eventually see her again or not. Can anybody help me out?

>tfw I see this thread about a cat
Makes you think
Pets are there as a grief practice, so later on when a real person ideas, you find it easier to cope.
So Snowball's last gift to you is arming you with the necessary tools for dealing with a death of a family member or friend.

I remember you posting your cat in that one thread. I'm sorry for your loss, it's always very sad when a witnesser of your own childhood leaves this world, no matter if it's a person or pet.
It's pop literature and about a dog but maybe Marley & Me by John Grogan could help you.
