It's shit. It's pure wankery; a jaded early thirty-something trying to write a quirky yet though provoking pomo masterpiece that has an aspect of philosophical depth. It fails. His short fiction in Oblivion and Brief Interviews with hidious men, and his unfinished novel The Pale King are really good though. His non fiction in "a supposedly fun thing..." is great too. Just skip IJ and Broom and read them later if you really want to.
