It is pitiful to me to hear apostles of equity pipe out that other races can equal this foremost of all—this successor to the Roman race in power and virility.

he was creative and massively influential, a lot of horror elements we take for granted didn't exist before him. his books are genuinely terrifying but also curious, and I imho that more than excuses the mediocre writing.I feel the same way about Philip K Dick
