I want to head out to a coffee shop or somewhere to read my favourite books. I live in a cold area so reading outside is a no-go at the moment.
Being on 4chan, I am obviously autistic. How long can I sit in a coffee shop after drinking an espresso to read without being given hassle or it being awkward?

Locally I have:
- a local coffee shop that also sells second hand books (terrified they accuse me of stealing my own book)
- Costa inside a book shop, same fear as above
- Starbucks
- Cafe Nero
- Costa

these are the 4 steps i follow daily:
1. make sure to sit as far away from bartender attention as possible
2. order your desired coffee + mineral water
3. smoke lots of cigarettes (slows down the process of drinkng and maked the reading more enjoyable)
4. sip the coffee and water as slowly as possible

Is there much risk of them accusing me of stealing my own book?
My partner got me my favourite book in hardback with real gold-leaf etc.

If you're really this autistic then just show them that you have it when you walk in.

You got em bud =)
If you live in Paris go to one of the many many brasseries that are literally on every street corner. Waiters never give you shit because they are lazy fucks who don't care about making money. Also it's very normal to sit here for hours.
In Canada and I'll sit with a coffee or two for 4 hours reading. Nobody has said a thing to me about it.
You could try a library OP.
