What an abortion of a thread. It's a great book though. Mina is the perfect woman that all should aspire to be. I swear if I ever have a daughter I'm making her read this book.

Were they both in the castle? Then you think the book is really great and it will be one of your favourite books?
Was it the castle and the initial outside castle chapter? You loved the first one but are jarred by the changing tone of the latter. You hope the book will build up to something yet you remain pessimistic somehow...
