The plague dogs was good also.

Isn't there an animated film about that as well?
Haven't seen it though, looked fucked up.

Cartoon adaptation was brutal
>>8891831
It's made by the same guy who produced the WS movie adaptation
The Plague Dogs movie shows a guygetting shot in the face
There's a walking tour you can do of all the scenes in the book, from the Sandleford warren to Watership Down, Efrafa etc. Mean to do it one day. Every location is real.
He was 96 so not exactly unexpected
I wish the stupid fucking le 2016 meme would die

The Plague Dogs kinda ruined my year when I read it for school

Guy who wrote watership down died. He wrote many other wonderful books, but watership down has a significant impact on many people's childhoods. It was well written, showed great scope of imagination and nourished the imagination of many a child.
The cartoon was decent too.
Here's a naked lady

Fuck. At least he made it to 96, that is a whole lot longer than many of the others.
Read it for the first time this year. One of the strongest structurally composed books I've read imo. It hits all the marks at the right times.

The movie also has the original ending, whereas with the book Adams had to add an extra page to please everyone that was upset about it.
