This is probably the most accurate comparison, if for no other reason then most people who listen to doom probably don't actually pay close enough attention to his lyrics and rhyme schemes to really appreciate what hes doing. i figure most people who read IJ are doing it because they were told its a masterpiece but don't really understand why even if they finish it. I could also see the argument being made for Ulysses.
