It is one of the worst books I've never read. I've tried a few times, but I never make it more than a page. Protagonist is a moody teen -- I should give a fuck if he gets run over?

Having read Journey to the End of the Night (the second worst book I ever read), you would think CITR would be a cinch.

Not that I think it is the worst book, but it was painful to read.

I attempted to read a copy of Left Behind I found on a plane once. Just for laughs.

Every single character in that book is such an unpleasant sociopath that it's just impossible to read.

Knowing that a pretty healthy chunk of Evangelicals in my country take that shit seriously is pretty scary.
