I'm learning to read French. What is the final boss of French literature? Is it pic related? Some say you can't understand Les mis unless you understand french like a native speaker.

What's the French Finnegans Wake? The longest and most convoluted sentences I've read translated from French were by Maurice Blanchot and Julien Gracq. For all I know, those might have not been the smoothest translations or there might be far more advanced (if I may call them that) works in French.
