Do you read plays? Does it even make sense? What plays should I read?
Related question, can anyone recommend some good versions of Shakespeare's plays (movie/recorded productions)

Just saw this recently and thought it was great. Also showed it to my high school English class after teaching the play and the students loved it, too. Most of them were actually paying attention and not on their phones the whole time.

It's far easier to read plays than it is to read poems.

Read some Becket. Not just Godot, but start there. After that try Krapp's Last Tape and go ahead as you feel.
Everyone should read Aristophanes. My favourite is the Frogs.
Try some Moliere as well. He's good. Maybe Tartuffe is a good place to start.
