Just made the account. I've embarked upon reading the great books of the western world. If I listed all the books I've read before it would be filled with shitty fantasy books. I'm going to keep it pure and updated regularly. Hopefully the list will be vast by the time I'm done reading.
>3 million people made goodreads goals for themselves in 2016
>December 2016
>15 thousand people completed their goals
it would be interesting to see how many people are 80-90% done and how many just completely fucked up their challenge
>>8860358
Well, on average, 27% of those pledged books were finished.
Too bad goodreads is not doing anything with the data they have on their hands.

Seeing as how this is a Goodreads thread I just want to say that reviews which consist of nothing more than one or two gifs are pure cancer.
Is there anyone from the spic countries on GR?
any (good) (good)reads /lit/ groups? any discussion channels worth noting?

Does Southern California count?

They are people whose attempts to praise the written word show a complete lack of faith in the written word to communicate, or at the very least a lack of ability to use the written word effectively. In other words, garbage people.

I kek when someone has 2000+ books but when I compare with them, we've only got Stephen King in common.

I just got into reading a few months ago.
Now there's a small trickle of random normies liking reviews here and there. I'm done for, folks.

I enjoy your reviews, Crito, but iI think I'd prefer if you broke up the longer ones into paragraphs (even if it's a bit contrary to your semi-stream of consciousness writing style).

Yeah I do run into that problem, and it doesn't help that GR doesn't do paragraph indents. Looks like a wall of text but I don't want to double space it either.
