I've never read a book but I want to. Where should I start?
After abstaining from reading a book since the Harry Potter craze as child, I unironically picked up Infinite Jest in my early 20's and loved it.

Do you have an easy time grasping images written through text, or a hard time? Or, in other words, hows your imagination?

Always surprised by the ordering in these lists.
But I do actually think choosing some of the easiest stuff off of here is a great place to start.
My idea for OP: read 1984, Kafka on the shore, and the great gatsby. Should be quick, all are fun and can be analyzed by newcomers fairly easily.
Then read harder stuff.
