Idk seems pretty important to philosophy of mind and philosophy of language if you ask me (or just about anyone else in academia). That being said, while I enjoy his philosophical commentary, I think that most of his work outside of psychology/cognitive science/linguistics is completely misguided (mainly because he attempts to be both a Cartesian and a naturalist at the same time - a rather difficult position to defend).
