Is it worth reading The Lord of the Rings if I have seen the films a million times?
Theres a lot of weird shit that got cut, like they all get roofied by an insane forest pixie that never appears again, and a really long epilogue where saruman is still alive and they need to stop him

You're going to get a lot more detail than the movies.

I think you'd be in for a much bumpier ride reading "The Hobbit" after seeing the films. I read "The Revenant" before seeing the movie, and it was much better than the film.
False. To watch the 3 films a million times, you'd need at least 1059.71 years, so "no".
I read it after seeing the film several times. Gratuitous detail about characters and a world you already love. I say do it.
