I bought I am legend at a used book store and just ended up buying a brand new 2nd copy online cause the one I got into store had a SUPER fucked up sticker that just ruined the whole fucking front cover when I took it

Used book stores write the price in pencil on the front page though.
Either way used books are far superior to new.

I buy 90℅ of my books used. It's a beautiful thing shopping at used book stores. I can almost tell someone died and their kids brought all their books over to value village... Every reader has their niche. So you'll see a big swath of books of a certain topic or author. I love reading notes in the front page when a book was gifted. Buying books used is patrician as fuck
