It's not that i hate bukowski. I hate the people who like him.
But this book, like every other one that he wrote is just cheap nihilism

It was pretty decent. I liked Ham on Rye more. Women is worse than this IMO.
I like bukowski's simple writing style and his distain for metaphor. I think bukowski tells a good story and he has a great sense of humour.
His total disregard for authority, if you're at a certain period in your life, can also be admirable and appealing.
Most of all I like bukowski's hatred of all things 'art'. Bukowski would have hated most of his fans.
I read the description and it sounds like a ripoff of Henry Miller who isn't that great to begin with
