Thoughts on Dickens?

i thought the funeral procession from a tale of two cities was pretty funny, and that david copperfield was far too long. I just wanted uriah heep to get his, not fucking read 6 more books to get to the end. great expectations was okay. can't get into pickwick papers for the life of me, our mutual friend is going to be the next of his I read, if any at all, and most likely bleak house after that, if mutual friend doesn't disappoint. what are your thoughts?

well he has no thoughts but he was hoping to leech off everyone elses so that when someone asks him about dickens he'll have something to say.
just my two cents though, maybe he was shitting and gave himself a hernia

I've only really read Great Expectations and A Christmas Carol. I liked Pip's character arc and related to him to an extent. Other than that, there weren't too many characters I thought were amazing. It was decent overall though. Again, I liked Scrooge's character arc in A Christmas Carol and I felt as though it was a heartwarming book, but nothing extraordinary. I am planning to read A Tale of Two Cities after the book I am currently reading.
I haven't read him :/
Hack. No interesting prose whatsoever
