I like Greene; he varies a lot though. I highly enjoyed The Heart of the Matter and The Power and the Glory; other than that, I think his other books tend to be on the better side of mediocre....

I like Greene too I'm just teasing. I think he wrote a lot of potboilers, the man had to make a living after all.
Read the quiet american in high school and I really liked it. I also liked the beats back then though so maybe he's trash. I do think he was considered for the Nobel a fea times though
