if it's full of memes
the term "meme" in regards to a person, place, or thing that isn't inherently a meme, means something that is oft repeated simply because other people hear it repeated often.
it's not really good but the people who praise do it loudly and over exaggerate
a good example is when Chris Pratt made it big people started imagining casting him in every action role ever. Meme actor.
I'm assuming you mean "meme" in the /lit/ context.
When it's a long, convoluted, and historically controversial piece of literature that is often attempted, rarely finished, and overtly recommended.
Ulysses, of course, is the archetypal example
