/lit/ is familiar with House of Leaves.
There's no code, it's just a spooky love story with some bells and whistles attached; the cool kids on this board hate its gimmicks but I think secretly most anons enjoyed at least some of the things Danielewski set out to do. Personally I found it very entertaining, and that's the perfect word to describe it I feel - it's entertaining.
