Honest answer is "No, probably not." A great many authors published much later in life than you. Just keep to it and eventually you'll get something.

As long as youre trying and working towards your highest potential, then no. While it is true a lot of successful writers get published young, it because they start and work consistently at an even younger age. The important thing is to keep writing until one day you do get published. Basically its best to start early but I think (hope) it is possible to make up for youthful laziness.
