I get what you're saying though it's a corny thing which turns writing into more of a social event like going out to the movies or comparing baby photos.

NaNoWriMos my fav material for sure because my fav thing in space garment is light weight, durability, compactness and good pressurization, and NaNoWriMo suits are full to the brim of it. Every suit is like one of those novelty snake cans, you open the box in which it comes & POP you get a face fulla snakes and you fall back cackling. The mad mind, the crack genius, to do it! and then you think hmmm what are they gonna do next, these tricksters, and you pick the box back up and BZZZZZZZZZZ you get a shock and Hahahahahah you've been pranked again by the old NaNomeister, the card. "Did that WriMo?" it says, laughing yukyukyukyuk. Watch it as it shoves a pair of plastic buck teeth right up into its mouth and displays em for you- left, right, center- "you like dese? I didn't do nano because I need an excuse to write, I did it in a last ditch effort to meet people that I like, and that like me enough back not to blow me off.
I tried the same thing two years ago and met nothing but major league assholes.
This year I met some of the greatest people I've ever known. For one month I've had friends.
