if you are older than 16 you will not enjoy it very much although i sometimes reread like tom bombadil chapter, or meeting with the elfs in the beginning, very comfy

also it's much better if you didn't see the movie, but if you did watch also the ralph bakshi one(only half was made, up till helms deep) before you start reading
