In my final year of majoring in Sociology, and i'm having some serious doubts if i should even bother to keep reading the material. I thought that majoring in Sociology would be like taking the ultimate red pill, but all i hear towards it is negativity? Any advice? Have I wasted 3 years of my life?
>the ultimate redpill
You wasted more than 3 years boyo, you wasted an entire existence

Idk, I dropped it after 3 months.
Took economics, aber far better choice.
You've definitely wasted more than 3 years of your life, but I guess you've got a opportunity to become the Uncle Tom of Sociologists by aligning yourself with the right-wing and explaining to MSM what Pepe is and how its a dank meme.

Have you learned nothing, dumb /pol9k/ retard?
I knew a guy who did his PhD in Sociology and was miserable because he was a literary/poetic type and the kind of sociology he went into was completely quant based

Good plan. In all seriousness though, is there anything I can masters in to save myself? Should i even bother reading the rest of this years material? Or spend my time on more worthwhile things?

It depends on what type sociology you chose to specialize in. You could try to steer your degree towards Sociology of knowledge and obtain a librarianship qualification, pretty much any country will beg you to emigrate; academic librarians are more sought after than doctors.

You're almost there, finish strong. Asking other people what you should regret is a bit absurd but I'd say get the degree and as good grades as you can, it'll make future decisions based on this on easier and looks a shit load better on any future applications than "I dropped out because of an existential crisis".
I'm doing my second degree now and while I could write off my previous years that's nonsense. Life's a journey not a destination, experience is just experience unless we decide its value yada yada. Good qualifications are rarely a bad thing to have. It's not just the knowledge of subject matter you're showing, it's work ethic etc. etc.
There's nothing inherently wrong with sociology as a field. There is a lot of excellent sociology and many interesting things for future sociologists to examine.
Just don't fall for the social justice bullshit or the retarded tabula rasa idea of "apart from socialization everybody is fundamentally the same." Cultural determinism is just as worthless as biological determinism.
