The Old Testament is a beautiful story, and even if you don't believe in Judaism or God in general, it's very easy to see how it's the granddaddy of the Abrahamic religions.

its 2 different books, in entirely different style. and buried in it is a complete narrative novel. if you dont approach it both critically, and with awe and wonder, you will get it so wrong. its divinely inspired AND its a huge piece of shit.
