lol dude I read infinite jest core
there is no such thing as consensus. especially not here.
Good
Verrrrryyyyy slow and description-filled beginnings, it gets more sprightly legs going forwards

This; Mansoul and onward starts to get really good and show... not a plot, exactly, but more sense of coherence and the different viewpoints adding together. Third Borough is neat.
Is it worth 60 dollaridoos?
>>8766292
Possibly not; it seems to be very "love it or hate it". Maybe read some off bookz/libgen first before comitting
>>8766292
I got it direct from the publishers for way way less than that.
It's something to put a fair amount of work into but has several v interesting ideas going through.

Is "Copyrighted Material" necessary on a book cover?
>>8766387
Well it is called Jerusalem, and the Jews could easily sue Moore, so it is probably necessary
>>8765745
I thought it was great, longest book I've ever read and read it in a month while reading other stuff on the side. I wish people would give it a chance rather than writing it off because he normally doesn't write novels
>>8766387
Moore is extremely triggered by the possibility of being fucked in the ass over copyrights and intellectual property again.
>>8766663
It was just for Amazon photo of the cover its the same for a lot of books
>>8766387
Standard preview picture, it's not on the actual cover
>>8766387
Moore learned it the hard way

That was comics. He famously and very legally got screwed over by publishers who promised they'd revert creator rights to him after Watchmen went out of print (implying, but only implying, after initial publishing runs). It became successful so they've never let it go out of print.
