Hey guys. Do any of you know of any books about black markets, smuggling, or just underworld in general? Desert towns are a plus.
Thanks.

If you want to read about petty thievery and train hopping hobos, You Can't Win by Jack Black is pretty interesting. There's no style to speak of but the author talks about drug addicts shooting up in prison cells, alcoholics drinking themselves to death, buying favors in prison, and various ways of robbing shops and hotels.

For a real life story of drugs and the 60s acid black market, read Acid Dreams
For a real life story of modern acid dealers, use ToR and look up Jesus of Rave's .onion address. Also find the story online of JoR. Essentially its a ring of acid dealers who sell bulk crystal, anyone can buy.
