Anyone read it? What are your thoughts?
This post leaves me puzzled. It's not a rage-inducing bait, where the OP is so bad you want to punch the anon who wrote it in the face. It's not a particularly well-timed bait, since the amount of HP threads right now is no higher than usual. It isn't a clever bait, something really witty and barely recognizable. It's very short and crude, with a (?) Dutch cover hidden by a spoiler tag and a name Harry typed in...
What did he mean by this?

maybe he isn't a smug elitist pseud like you
>>8752395
basically I was asking what your thoughts on the book are... Like I wrote above. Is that weird?

do you seriously need to ask whether a cash grab of a play based on a fantasy series for children with 0 literary value that wasn't even written by the original author is any good?
if you're "not a smug elitist pseud," you had to look no further than goodreads. even HP fans shit on it over there.

are you some kind of book nerd or something? Haha why don't you try to lighten up anon, there's a life out there you know :^)
It's utter shit, destroys the characters and established continuity, and is worse fanfic than most of the HP fanfic I've seen. Ignore it. Rowling signed off on the cheque, nothing else.

>there's a life out there you know
REEEEEEEEEE
It's a turd. Jack Thorne must have something serious on Rowling to have blackmailed her into putting her name on it
It's hilariously bad. I think you should read something that horribly-written once in a while to remind yourself how great are other book you read. The fact that it got published and shitload of people bought it is mind boggling, as is the fact that there are those that call it good with a straight face.
*stretches legs*
yeah it was bad . wish I'd seen the play though. the magic was supposed to be amazing and the only way to judge a script is to see it performed
