hai /lit/,
I need a favor from someone who goes to a University of California institution, and since I've heard your board has a higher reate of uni students, I figured I would ask here. I'm after the ebook version of this book
http://ucla.worldcat.org/title/ghunyat-al-labib-inda-ghaybat-al-tabib/oclc/610015304?referer=di&ht=edition,
but it seems you need UC student access to download it. If one of you could send it to [email protected], I'd be eternally grateful. I don't have much to offer in return, but I have a gift key for Terraria on Steam that you could probably exchange for something more interesting.
a-anyone?
Does your university library have an interlibrary loan service?
If not, or if your doesn't have any partnerships with the UC system, try contacting UC's ILL directly, explaining your academic affiliation, and asking whether they might make an exception in either scanning for you or sending you the ebook copy
I work in ILL (not at that uni though) and it's pretty informal sometimes, we'd probably at least consider it
>University of California
I'm sorry for your loss... :'(

Thanks, forgot to mention that I am trying an inter-library loan, I just don't have very high hopes for it. I wasn't aware of the electronic version when I made the request so I tried with an Arabic library, and, well, they're always a gamble. Usually they take forever to respond and the scans you get aren't guaranteed to be usable. Pic rel is something I got a while back, I swear they must've made the pic with a phone.
