I got into him before finding this board. I recommend Middle C as a good primer. I've read every fiction book of his and I'm in a minority of his fans I think when I say he is a bit uneven but even in the work I don't like the most you can feel a lot of the potential.

The Tunnel is probably one of the most vile books I have ever read, and it's not disgusting in gore or shock factor or shit but how much every person can relate to Kohler at least sometime in their lives. And it's pretty insightful and critical to so-called "redpill" ideologies you can find on this board and if you're into that

Not an easy read in the prose sense though, especially the first 100 pages, recommend you read Omensetter's Luck or In the Heart of the Heart first

Kohler is one of my favorite people probably. Those two books, Omensetter's and Heart of The Heart are good primers for the type of tone found in The Tunnel.
