You should finish it, "The sun is but a morning star" is one of my favorite concluding lines in all of literature. I sometimes repeat it to myself when I'm falling asleep. Walden is an absolute masterpiece, don't understand why so many people don't like it. Maybe its narrator is too flowery and stilted for modern readers.

Expected it to be one of my favorite books of all time. Made it maybe 70 pages in before the constant rambling about how much food to store and what his front door looks like made me tap out.

I'm ADHD as fuck but I rred the whole thing through voluntarily and enjoyed it, so
