Editions of books you want to buy but you already own a copy.
Dirty dumb pedo scum.

I agree, that cover is pretty hot.
This unironically. I really really like this cat!
>>8749550
Kek. That's actually a pretty sick cover.
This. Also I don't speak Brazilian.

I have it. Back cover looks great as well and the text is annotated, which helps a lot with the historical references and such, but the way the pages are cut to resemble parchment or some shit is just awful (sorry, I'm an autistic third-worlder, I couldn't find a proper word for this way of cutting pages)
There's also a similar edition of Dubliners!
I prefer this one really.
Only seems to be on the German version tho.
Ignat Avsey's translation of Karamazov, titled The Karamazov Brothers, from Oxford World's Classics
(even though I already own several other translations, and I have Avsey's in digital form)

Graça can actually mean jest, as in, something is "engraçado", or funny

Sorry, I meant to say I don't speak Brasileiro

White Noise is not difficult to read in terms of vocabulary or syntax. It has fantastic prose still, but you ought to do just fine
>>8751946
Lots of books are cut this way and I don't believe its just for the aesthethic. It is pretty beautiful to be honest and I liked this edition too, Knausgårds foreword was solid aswell. The introduction is shite though, overtly long and brings little of interest regardless of if you read it prior to the novel or afterwards.
The Dubliners one looks great though and I'd love to read it with extensive annotations. Really appreciated the annotations for Portrait. I actually gave that edition of Dubliners to my mother but she hasn't gotten around to it yet
>>8751068
what the fuck is this adventure time ass shit
>>8749530
Anyone else unironically own this?
>>8749530
>>8749497

>>8754329

>>8751068
I bought a second copy of Portrait just to get this cover. Totally worth it, the colors are fucking cool. Also that made me want to read it again which was interesting because I saw it in a totally different light.
>>8754770
Is it any good?
>>8754766
I don't watch anime and not everybody does. Only your autistic brain would relate it to Naruto.
This is one of my favorite covers
>>8756672
It would be a perfect edition if it didn't have FUCKING DECKLED EDGES
>>8751068
Wait a minute, isn't this just a snazzed up version of that overused painting of some explorer type guy standing on top of a mountain?
(I still like it tho)
>>8751068
FUCK ME I just ordered this its too nice looking. i have the dubliners one and I adore it.
>>8756672
>PV
lmaooo
>>8756676
I still can't tell why they do this on modern books, is it the aesthetic or what, because all it does it make the pages harder to turn for me
>>8754793
It's good, it's literally just the 2 Alice novels in their original text with some kawaii LN images
>>8758403
Finally someone commenting on an actual book and not just a cover
>>8754770
For some reason I laughed at it just nonchalantly being there between Borges and Bolano.
>>8749645

550 dollars but it would be nice to pass that on as an heirloom.

It's manga, so most of it is drawing.
>>8761382
>nice to pass that on as an heirloom.
First work on passing on those genes son.
>>8761382
Don't buy stuff like this Easton Press edition. They're designed to appeal to people who want to feel superficially sophisticated. You'd be better off getting an early printing. That's actually cool.
>>8760156
I bought this because I have no self-control. It's beautiful.
