Hi /lit/, what's your take on haiku? Personally I like writing them pretty much as a hobby. If I had to guess though then I would guess that /lit/ might think of the genre as pleb tier due to the fact that they are so <deceptively?> easy to write and read. What say you?

If you write a haiku about a certain place and time; then in some ways when you read it back then it's even better than a photo or whatever of taking you back to the rememberance of that time. Maybe writing the haiku strengthen those particular memory neurons?
