The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle
A Wild Sheep Chase

What was the order in which you read them? I think that with Murakami, this might make an impact on the priorities.
>>8743292
How do none of you fuckers get After Dark? I had high hopes for you after your top 4.
>>8743313
Also, Wind-Up Bird after Hard-Boiled.

Do you often take notes when you read? How did it help you while reading Murakami?
>>8743351
Depends on the book, really. I take notes whenever I catch something interesting. For example, I took some notes about the parallelisms between Kafka and Nakata, or lines/stuff that just reinforced the themes. Comparatively, I only took like three notes on Norwegian Wood. And they make Murakami more enjoyable, I guess.
I'm kinda autistic in that regard, so I like going through my notes after I finish a book.
