I'm an aspiring writer.
I'm 18, about to finish high school as soon as exams are over.
I already do some pathetic writing on a site where I make little articles about politics. My heart's not entirely in everything I write though and that pains me. I rack my mind rather than having each and every word tumble out onto a page. It's not natural, y'know?
Where do I get some inspiration? What life experiences do I need to kick-start my life?
Who do I read to find my pathway? (Not as imitation, but as inspiration)
You're not an aspiring writer you're someone who wants to think of themselves as a writer but doesn't actually write.
One name. John Donne.
It's a joke about Greek philosophers. Plato said that the definition of a human was a "featherless biped", so Diogenes plucked a chicken and brought it to Plato's school shouting "Behold! I've brought you a man!".

I've got about 8 articles on BeingLibertarian.com.
I just don't have the time to write anything heart-felt.

Much appreciated. I'll check him out.
I dig the satirical, yet emotionally driven element to his life (at least from this lame synopsis thing I'm reading on Wikipedia right now).
