Any recs?
is pizzolatto worth reading? i liked true detective
You would probably like The House On The Borderland by William Hope Hodgson, if you haven't already read it.
Arthur Conan Doyle did a bunch of paranormal and suspense stories, the best of which are collected in a two hundred page Wordsworth book.

Yes so far this has been enjoyable. He also has a short story collection'From Here to the Yellow Sea' worth checking out

just get The White People and Other Weird Stories collected by Penguin, you won't be disappointed, the only story I really disliked was A Fragment of Life which has to be one of the most boring stories I've ever read. The one about the animals going berserk and murdering people was great though.

I read most of Hodgen's work a while back. That & 'The Boats of the Glen Carrig' took me forever to finish though.
Worth it
