How many books do you read in a year? I normally read at least 25-30.

This is a blue board which means that it's for everybody (Safe For Work content only). If you see any adult content, please report it.

i used to do those goodreads challenges that avgd. around a book a week but found myself getting too worked up about keeping with schedule and would choose to read books that were shorter over ones that i was more excited about.

abandoned that this year. ill probably clock in ~30, but i think the quality of choices has improved.

I've got around 200 for this year.

A good year, maybe 100. A bad year, 25. Depends on what I've got going on in my life. Girlfriends and school slow it down, off years and being single give me a lot more free time
>>
Usually zero or one. I'm hoping to change that.

I do the same thing. The way i fixed the long book in a week problem was by giving myself 2 weeks for any books around 800 or more. And 1 week for any around 400 or less.

I read a book every three days.
I also listen to audiobooks of lighter literature when unable to read. Recently I was listening to polish books on jews in their communism times. Works of Kisielewski or Huelle are great.
