Nope. Most of PKD's mainline stuff has enough meat to be chewed in a book club setting. He does have a few overriding obsessions, so doing more than a handful of his books will get really repetitive unless you enjoy him as a stylist though.

Yeah it's good. I say go to the book club. Probably my 2nd favorite of his books after Ubik. Nothing like Blade Runner, so don't go into it expecting that.
