So after lots of complications and delays, Ideology is now under new management.
We've revamped our website completely to make updating easier so future issues should proceed much more smoothly.
You can read our first issue here: http://ideologylit.com/genesis/
You can also read our aborted second issue, which we just launched, here: http://ideologylit.com/heat/
>What is this?
Ideology is an online literary journal that consists of unsolicited submissions. We hope to publish four times a year.
>Is this the first literary journal from /lit/?
No. There's been others in the past, perhaps most notably TAR: The April Reader which ran for three years and 22 issues.
>How can I submit?
We're going to start accepting submissions for the third issue in a week or so. We're open to theme suggestions! (Currently, the front-runner is "THE FUTURE.")
>How can I subscribe or receive updates?
You can sign-up for our newsletter by emailing [email protected] with "SUBSCRIBE" in the title. You can also follow us on twitter, facebook, or Google + (links on our website)
>Why was the second issue aborted? / What took so long for the second issue to come out?
There was a bunch of IT/team/trolling issues. We lost all the submissions except for what we saved - so that's why this issue is so much shorter. Our most sincere apologies to everyone who submitted.
>I'm not interested / stop spamming / this isn't /lit/-related
We're sorry to hear that. All threads on /lit/ will be started under this name, so please add that to your filter and you won't see us anymore.
We'd love to hear any comments, suggestions,or questions you may have! The journal is in its infancy and we're looking towards /lit/ to shape Ideology.
kek seriously
>tfw TAR was five years ago
Anyone ever picture /lit/ as a sort of old school literary fraternity with some guys who take the literary aspect very seriously and some guys just in it for the shitposting and socializing? This guy is one of our good guys. Bless you

Taking it seriously doesn't help when what you put out is bad, it makes it worse
>>8702238
from what I've skimmed, the pieces aren't as bad as I thought they would be (miles above what's normally in the crit threads)
the heat issue is actually pretty readable/good....
>I think
>We should be
>A movement.
>Our friends,
>Literary,
>Musical,
>I’m thinking
>Friction.
