Found out the author of pic related died a few days ago
it was one of my favorite books that had you read in school, and I had recently re-read a few months ago for the nostalgia
IDK it just kind of bums me out. Can we talk about this book, natalie babbit, or any of your deceased favorite authors
I don't think I've read any of her books, are they good enough to read as an adult?

theyre childrens book on the surface but not Hunger games or twilight teir. Tuck at least covered a very adult issue centered around a child, so Id say so

yeah, theyre fun and not too pretentious when teaching a life lesson, very "to kill a mocking bird" feel to them
Ill probably read them to my kids

Holy shit, thanks for reminding me about this book. I last read this when I was in fifth grade, and I absolutely liked it.
A shame the author died.
Tuck Everlasting is great childrens /lit/. I have very fond memories of being read Tuck and Kneeknock Rise to my 4th and 5th grade classes. Can't wait to read these stories to my kids.
If you have five minutes, just listen to how pretty her books were. Great prose for a children's author.
