i feel that given the fact he was 27 when he wrote infinite jest his audience of under 25 year olds into stuff like american psycho and fight club does not mean he isnt a great literary mind.... his work is massive and very well written and detailed and concise.....perhaps the weight of (genius) was too much too bare for him.....and i predict that if he were to stay alive he wouldve wrote even greater books with more mature topics in the vein of dare i say doestvsky? idk but i assume without the shitty world we live that is basically poison to anyone sincere and in possesion of great intellect lol that he maybe couldve written some more classic books maybe one or two more and the world would be a better place with them in it.
