sup /lit/, tomorrow I'm leaving my city to go live and work and write on an island. After being paralyzed by fear I'm finally doing this and I wanted to ask you guys if you know any books about this subject, about traveling or leaving and adjusting to a new life elsewhere. It's kind of soothing for me to think about these type of novels or stories and the writers who may have done this kind of thing, which aren't few as far as I've read.
and no I'm not saying I'm chasing the literary lifestyle or some shit like that, I just want to go live there and work and write on my freetime because yeah, you know, I know you know, when one feels like writing one should simply do it, regardless of results.
and to anyone out there who's afraid of actually doing something like this, fuck it I completely get you, trust me, and let me tell you I also know I mean, I'm sure that you are fucking capable of doing it.
>inb4 no replies or some of you trying to call me out on my shit of a plan to live my life.
I don't care, and I know why you should act like assholes, I've been visiting this board for quite a while now. I fucking love you faggots.
also going to lose internet connection so I'll see you God knows fucking when. I'll check this thread in some hours to see if you have any recommendations. Also yes third world country here excuse my sloppy fucking english.

could be but I trust you guys better for some reason.
If you like SF-fantasy, read Lord Valentine's Castle. It's an easy and kind of shallow book but the world is fascinating and the characters travel through most of it.
