Which translation of K. Bros is the best? I just picked up pic related from Goodwill for 65 cents, but if I'm going to invest the time/effort required then I want to read the best/most enjoyable/preferably least stuffy translation of it.

I like Garnett. I have heard very good things about Magarshack and Avsey. A lot of people think P&V is good.

Read excerpts from those ones and find the one you like the most.

Semi-related, am I okay to start with Dossy's Brothers Karamazov, or should I have read CP first?

I agree with this. I think C&P gives you a clearer idea of Dostoevsky's perspective and considerations. His literary mission in other words from which the Brothers Karamazov was made to be a self reply towards.
Chronology matters in most cases for this reason

I have the Garnett edish of Brothers Karamazov.

I'm sperging out. I haven't read it and I got it last year. I might read it in every translation but it's cool to start with Garnett right? It's one of the better ones, r-right?
