Based on the fact that you put Fitzcarraldo in your post, I'd recommend Pushkin Press. They are trendy in a similar way, almost like they're emphasising the boringness of the texts
Has anyone read Pond or Zone? I keep hearing good things but I haven't read anything from this generation of writers and I'm worried that it is only relatively good.

I've read Pond. I like it a lot. A lot of people will say that it's a little 'yoga-mom' if that makes sense, but, to me, that kind of seems like the point. Plus, I think it's probably one of the first times where I've seen stream of consciousness done well in this generation. Try and have a read of it before you buy it to see if you like it though
