With that said, he is an absolute pseud. Watch any of his videos and you will struggle to find even one piece of compelling analysis or unique insight about the book being discussed. He uses vague adjectives and personal anecdotes to repackage book reviews which would otherwise hold no more substance than a cover flap quote. His content is intellectually bankrupt and more concerned with filling the facade of a lit lifestyle than actually making meaningful contributions to the internet's literary discussion. As despicable as that is I can't help respect his thoroughness and consistency. He is not the only person doing this, you will find the same thing all over instagram and youtube, but he is able to do it with the highest degree of success I have seen. Just look at the video op posted. The guitar in the corner, the inlaid bookshelf, coffee mug, suede collared jacket, the dude is posturing professionally.

Aside, this is all just silly conjecture and he seems like a nice dude.
