Exactly this. If you've spent a lot of time with Plato/Aristotle it will be valuable to revisit the presocratics with more rigor, but frankly I'd be surprised if anyone reading them for the first time (and doing so before reading any other Greek philosophy) gained more than the vaguest ideas about the consequences of what they wrote.
